Your Right to Delete Your Data

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Beacon at any time. We are committed to respecting your privacy and will process all deletion requests promptly.

What Data We Store

When you use Beacon, we may store the following information:

  • Account information (name, email address)
  • Connected social media account tokens and profile information
  • Content you create within Beacon (posts, drafts, scheduled content)
  • Your FingerPrint™ voice profile data
  • Analytics and engagement data from your connected accounts

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, you can:

  1. Delete your account from within the app: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will immediately remove all your data.
  2. Email us directly: Send a request to privacy@alpha2zulumarketing.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your Beacon account.

What Happens When You Request Deletion

Upon receiving your deletion request:

  • We will verify your identity to protect against unauthorized requests
  • All your personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days
  • Connected social media account tokens will be revoked
  • Any scheduled posts that have not yet been published will be cancelled
  • Your FingerPrint™ voice profile will be permanently erased

Data We Cannot Delete

Please note that we cannot delete:

  • Posts that have already been published to your social media platforms (these exist on those platforms, not in Beacon)
  • Data required for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes (such as billing records, which are retained for 7 years)

Facebook and Instagram Data

If you connected your Facebook Page or Instagram account to Beacon, deleting your Beacon account will:

  • Remove all stored access tokens for your Facebook/Instagram accounts
  • Delete any cached profile information from these platforms
  • Remove any analytics data we collected from these accounts

You can also revoke Beacon's access directly from your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
